Refraction
Comforting has been a mutual theme for my works. Coexisting with self-denial is an issue I constantly try to address. A sanctuary for me is a time I could be comfortable with my self. I have decided to develop this collection around our relationship with the so-called “self”. We as individuals imprint on one another. The environment we are in are refracted and projected on each of us. Learning and mimicking made us who we are. I see individuals as a reflection of time and space. We mirror our environment.

This is a collaborative photoshoot where the collection is reinterpretation by artist Helen Li. It's envisioned as a poignant phase in a woman's life journey, interconnected with other looks, each symbolizing different facets of her existence. The essence of this collection is to explore the multifaceted roles a woman navigates daily—her responsibilities and identity as a daughter, a mother, a wife, and her individual self, each demanding a unique set of sacrifices and offering distinct joys.
